A Teaching Idea

One  main part of our work as future teachers is to create teaching ideas. Often New Media can help to motivate your students but also can improve the learning process  of our students in comparison to ex-cathedra teaching. My teaching idea is meant to be for 6th graders and uses google maps to train the competence of asking for directions. In my opinion, it is more convenient to use real maps of cities rather than a small fictional map of the school book. The template I used for my teaching idea is from the VZL (Virtuelles Zentrum für Lehrerbildung) and includes a short description of the idea and a worksheet.
