Evaluation of the web-tools

In general, I have to say that the three tools we have been introduced to are very useful. I have never heard of them before and I am glad that I am aware of them by now. Up to this semester I saw no necessity of using Netvibes, Weebly or Delicious but I think that I might use them in the future since they have many advantages and simplify things.

After setting up my Weebly account I had some difficulties with setting up my website but after reading through the help section, which took me a while, it was alright.  Although I am not satisfied with the design of my e-portfolio yet, it is quit clear that once if you spent a little bit of time with the editor, it is easy to create a webpage yourself without having any clue about HTML.

I think this tool might be a good alternative for reading diaries of students or to set up a classroom homepage
instead of a blog. Weebly offers the opportunity to create a secure platform to which only restricted number of people, for example your students and their parents, have the possibility to gain access.

Concerning Netvibes, there are many widgets that I find really helpful. My personal favourites are the notepad and the to-do-list. Since I easily forget things I have to do I always write little paper notes which will not be necessary any more. Although I am not using the dashboard for my subject-related studies right now, since I am not a follower of any educational blogs or something like that, I use it to stay in touch with the latest news.
The tool is very handy for individuals but I am not sure if I could include Netvibes into my classes except for introducing it to my future students to train computer skills.

The third tool, delicious, is also very suitable for individuals but ,as far as I have thought of, not really useful for in-class sessions at school. I would have been glad if I had been introduced to this tool at the beginning of my teacher degree program. There have been so many different websites I found for researches that I only used for lectures and afterwards I forgot about them.  I will definitely use this tool in the future and to avoid the latter as well as to have my URL's in a structured order.

Essentially, I would say that all the tools are worth trying and might be useful in school although I have to rethink tasks for specific activities since every assignment has to fulfill a certain goal.
